We are looking for a Customer Education Specialist, with a strong background in customer service or training, to support our Life Sciences customers, with a focus on our preclinical solutions. 

The primary job responsibility is to deliver customer facing product trainings in order to demonstrate the value of our solutions, drive customer delight and support retention.

The Customer Education Specialist is to be a motivated and articulate individual who is customer focused and commercially minded and demonstrates a high level of product expertise.

The Customer Education Specialist team reports into the Customer Engagement organization, while working closely with the Account Management & Customer Success teams and Product Managers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and value-add expert training that drives product usage and customer engagement

  • Produce customized training content to deadlines and client requirements

  • Fulfil contractual training obligations with global accounts

  • Support the development of training materials for customer e-Learning

  • Monitor and adapt training content to reflect industry trends and product developments

  • Evaluate training programs and materials to ensure customer needs are met

  • Work closely with customer success and account management teams to prioritize customer facing activities

  • Provide feedback to product management and sales on clients’ use of products, and identify additional product and service needs

  • Provide strong customer service, anticipate and meet customer needs and build relationships

  • Research and implement training and presentation techniques to maximize training effectiveness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, particularly preclinical

  • Good understanding of how customers use life sciences information in their workflows

  • Knowledge and use of conferencing software and tools to run engaging and interactive training sessions

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to translate ideas into clear written and visual materials/communication

  • Ability to gain and retain customer confidence and respect

  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with core stakeholders

  • Ability to work with remote cross-functional and cross-cultural teams

  • Candidate should be an efficient multi-tasker, as they will be working in a very high-pace, dynamic environment.

  • Good time management skills to plan and prioritize workload and demands

  • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines

Qualifications and Languages:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline

  • Preclinical background

  • Experience delivering virtual courses or presentations

  • Additional languages are a plus
